3rd Whitton Scouts is looking for volunteers to help us deliver fun, adventure, and life-changing experiences to young people aged 6–18. 🌍

You don’t need to have been a Scout. You don’t need special skills. Just a sense of humour, a bit of time, and a willingness to get stuck in! 💪

Whether it’s helping run games, supporting trips, or lending a hand behind the scenes — every role matters.

Scouting is about having fun, learning new things, and making friends. Young people aged 6 to 18 get to try new activities, spend time outdoors, and build important skills.

At 3rd Whitton Scouts, we help young people gain confidence, work as a team, and become more independent through activities like camping, hiking, games, and helping in the community.

Simply put, Scouting is where young people become doers, leaders, and friends — ready to take on the world!

Everyone is welcome, no matter where you’re from or what you believe. Scouting is for anyone who wants to explore, learn, and make friends.

👋 Who Are We? | 3rd Whitton Scouts

At 3rd Whitton Scout Group, we offer fun, adventure, and challenge for young people aged 6 to 14 from Whitton, Heathfield, and across Twickenham and Hounslow.

From Beavers and Cubs to Scouts, we help young people build confidence, learn life skills, and make great friends – all while having a brilliant time!

Founded in 1938 by St Edmund’s Catholic Church, we still enjoy strong links with the parish and school, but we welcome everyone, regardless of background or faith. Inclusivity is central to who we are.

We’re proud to be part of the Richmond upon Thames District, home to:
✔️ 24 Scout Groups
✔️ 12 Explorer Units
✔️ 2,380 youth members
✔️ 570+ volunteers

For ages 14–18, we also host the Edmund Hilary Explorer Unit – for even bigger adventures!
