Happy Kinship Care week…… join at southwestlondonkinship at Whitton Community Centre on the 7th of October…..

Happy Kinship Care Week 2026! 💜

This week is about celebrating kinship families – grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, family friends and all those who step up to raise children they love.

At SW Kinship, we also know how important it is that kinship carers have somewhere to turn for information, advice, friendship and support.

So a little reminder that THIS WEDNESDAY we are bringing everyone together for our Kinship Care Week event at Whitton Community Centre.

📅 Wednesday 7 October
⏰ 10am–2pm
📍 Whitton Community Centre, Percy Road, Twickenham TW2 6JL

We’ll be joined by organisations and professionals from across our local community, with opportunities to get information and advice, ask questions and meet other kinship carers who understand the journey.

🍽️ Free hot lunch provided
🚗 Parking is available but limited

Most importantly, it’s a chance to come together, have a chat, make connections and celebrate our wonderful kinship community.

Places are limited, so please make sure you are pre-booked.

Please share this with any kinship carers who may benefit from joining us.

Happy Kinship Care Week from all of us at SW Kinship. 💜
