Yep, we feed every young person who wants to eat. 😋

That’s an average of approx 45 meals a day - around 495 so far this summer - plus snacks and refreshments on top.

don’t provide everything we serve, but they help A LOT - and support our aim that no young person goes hungry during the holidays or beyond. Thanks team 🙏

But why feed everyone? Because we know in the midst of a cost of living crisis, more and more people could do with a little help. And if we can help, we will.

Heatham were definitely in the House at the Youth Awards 🏆 🙌

Freddie won the Interesting or Innovative Project Award 🥇 for his 3D printed model of the HH Skatepark.

Jonathan and Oscar won the Outstanding Contribution to your Community Award 🥇🥇 for their exceptional voluntary work at the HH Junior Club.

And Nico topped off a proud night with a hat-trick — the Health and Wellbeing Award 🥇 for his work in the HH Gym, HH Young Person of the Year 🥇, AND the top prize of AfC Young Person of the Year 🥇🏆

We should also recognise everyone who was nominated. Since the last Youth Awards, Richmond Youth Service has worked with over 6,500 young people, so being nominated amongst that number is an achievement in itself 👊

And we can’t forget to big up 8 Bridges 🎸 and Zakai 🎤 for performing on the night and Annabelle for hosting too 👏

Heatham House is losing a bit 🤏 of the Phil good factor 🫤

This isn’t a goodbye but a see you later (we will still see him! 🙌)

The big house has been lucky to have Phil’s support and some incredible partnership work over the past few years but his work is taking him in a new direction and we won’t be seeing him as much.

Phil has been a key part of building the gym into what it is today and has supported many young people through his work at HH and introduced loads of them to HH along the way.

Thanks Phil. ❤️

Oh and the song is Phil’s drag act/karaoke song of choice. He sings it quite well. 😂

Whether your thing is art, sports, or even throwing an axe or two 🪓 Heatham House has got you covered for 5 weeks. It’s FREE — and we’ll throw lunch in too if you’re hungry 🤯

Day passes are available now via ticketsource.com/heathamhouse or the link in our bio.

What’s included:
⚽ Multi-sports — football, basketball, skatepark
🎱 Chill out zones — pool, table tennis, table football, board games, consoles
🌳 Activities in the garden
🛹 Jeremy on the skatepark Mondays & Wednesdays from 12.30 — there to give pointers and support
🎨 Loads of extra art and sports activities running throughout the day

Bookable activities fill up fast, but Day Passers can take any spare spaces on the day.

Could you be the difference?! 🤨

Heatham House and Richmond Youth Service are looking for people with some spare time 🕰️, some spark ⚡️, some fight 💪 and a desire 💜 to support young people growing up.

Is that you?

No experience needed — life skills, hobbies and/or just the willingness to show up, listen and learn are all you need to get going.

Heatham House is hosting an open evening for potential volunteers on Monday 29th June at 6.30pm. You’ll get to meet the team, see the place and get a feel for the Youth Centre and the work we do.

As a volunteer you’ll receive an enhanced DBS, safeguarding and intro to Youth Work training, plus access to further training including first aid and activity-specific qualifications.
