Ever wanted to make your own blueprint? Now you can!

On Tuesday 15th September, we are running a blueprint making workshop at Grove Gardens Chapel in Richmond.

Learn how engineers like Sir Joseph Bazalgette made blueprint copies of their designs by making one yourself. Whether you want to freehand draw your design or trace from an existing one, we can help you copy it in a blueprint style using cyanotype techniques.

💧 Can you help our new Green Hub grow?

Two new community planters have just been installed at Raleigh Road Recreation Ground, one packed with herbs and the other with vegetables.

We're looking for local helpers who can keep them watered during these warm weeks. If you need a watering we can provide one. Just get in touch!

Feel free to enjoy a few herb leaves, and later in the season, some home-grown vegetables. Plus, watch this space for a community wildflower planting evening coming soon! 🌱🌼

🌿 We were delighted to take part in a celebration of major work on the River Crane at Mereway Nature Park! Organised by Let’s Go Outside And Learn, with support from Thames21’s EMPOWER Rivers Programme, this community event brought people of all ages together to celebrate improvements for nature and people.

It was fantastic to join partners including FORCE, Crane Valley Partnership, ZSL, The Conservation Volunteers, London Tree Ring and Friends of Meadway Orchard to mark the River Crane's recovery. From guided walks and storytelling to discovering the river restoration and fish pass, it was a fantastic day! Read our blog to find out more https://habitatsandheritage.org.uk/blog/
