Just look at how busy Twickenham Green was yesterday evening! It was absolutely brilliant to see so many of you gathered to watch the eclipse together.

​What a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely reminder of what makes our community space so special.

Join us for our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday1st September It is a wonderful opportunity to catch up, hear about our recent projects, and discuss exciting plans for the Green over the coming years (all welcome)

​📅 Date: Tuesday, 1st September
⏰ Time: 7:30pm
📍 Location: The Pavilion

This year all posts are up for election. If you are interested in any of the posts listed below nominations can be sent to [email protected] by email by the 28th August. The posts are for two years. There are also vacancies for committee members which are for one year.

We also will have a couple of representatives from Richmond Parks team on hand for a Q&A session.

​The Pavilion bar will be open for the evening, so please do stick around after the meeting for a drink and a chat with your neighbours. 🍻

One of the many good parts of the Friends of Twickenham Green/High Tide Festival, is that we get the chance to meet our local residents, and to explain what we do and why we do it.

High Tide was very well attended, and lots of families and friends had a great day on The Green, enjoying the live music and browsing the stalls.

Our raffle looks to have raised over seven hundred pounds,, which will be shared between the local Trussell Food Banks and the Homeless charity SPEAR.

A big thank you to all those who donated prizes. If you want to join us and share what we do for our precious public open space, full details can be found on our web site.

A massive thank you to the Parks team for their brilliant work establishing the pollinator bed just behind Arthur's! 🌸🐝

​The plants are absolutely thriving and looking spectacular right now. I’m sure our local bees and butterflies will be incredibly appreciative of their beautiful new habitat.
