When young people feel isolated or unsupported, it can affect theirs confidence, emotional wellbeing, communication and their sense of belonging.
Mentoring can help change that.
Having someone to talk to, relate to and learn from can create reassurance, encouragement and a stronger support system during challenging periods.
That support can make a meaningful difference to wellbeing and emotional resilience over time.
At National Mentoring Day, we know firsthand that mentoring plays an important role in helping young people feel more connected, supported and understood.
Through mentoring, young people can benefit from:
• Stronger confidence and self-belief
• Greater emotional support and connection
• Healthier communication and coping skills
• Reduced feelings of isolation
• Positive personal growth and development
Has mentoring, guidance or support from someone ever helped you through a difficult period in life?
