Be Part of TEDxTruro 2027 - including TEDxTruro Youth

Planning has already started!

We are inviting expressions of interest from people who may like to join the TEDxTruro team for 2027.

Whether you have experience in events, marketing, partnerships, production, speaker support, photography, videography, social media, community engagement, or simply want to bring your energy and ideas to the team, we would love to hear from you.

There may also be opportunities for people interested in taking on leadership or board-level roles as TEDxTruro continues to grow.

We are also inviting businesses and organisations to register their interest in becoming a partner for TEDxTruro 2027 and/or the TEDxTruro Youth event.

Both events are still in the early planning stages, with dates and details yet to be confirmed, but we are keen to start conversations with people and organisations who may want to be involved.

The calm before the storm.
This picture of our wonderful host Richard Brown was taken less than an hour before doors opened for yesterday’s TEDxTruro event.

Months of hard work and planning. Hours of technical setup and staging. All over in an instant.

The day was glorious. Our speakers were the definition of inspirational. And the feedback so far has been eye-wateringly positive.

We set out to share the power of creativity, what we witnessed was a community of people being uplifted.

Work will continue in the background to produce the official photography and edit the videos for submission…more on that to follow.

But for now, as we steadily recover from an adrenaline high, we would like to say a massive that you to our speakers, speaker mentors, partners, venue support team, the organising committee, and to everyone who attended on the day!

Rujuta Singh is the creator of The Great Silliness Project, a year-long, community-powered exploration into the profound impact of doing utterly pointless things on purpose. Founder of Solved Together, a London-based business transformation and innovation studio, she is one of the top 1% of facilitators globally, a qualified executive coach, expert in neuroscience-based collaboration, design thinking, Lego Serious Play, and the somewhat alarming art of clown facilitation.

During a personally difficult year, she discovered what kept her afloat: unexpected, joyful moments of pure silliness. Through her newsletter Profound Silliness, she documents intentional absurdity and the accidental wisdom inside it.
