We're so excited for our lecture tonight, where Dr Leonardo Costantini will be joining us to discuss the rhetorical use of magic and curses in Apuleius’ Apologia! 💫

Dr Costantini is a Senior Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Bristol, and frequently collaborates with the university’s Centre for Medieval Studies. His research interests involve the literary and textual aspects of the works of authors such as Cicero, Vergil, Apuleius, and Hyginus, as well as broader themes such as the ancient novel, Platonism, and Greco-Roman magic.

Members will have received an invite to the online lecture via email. Visit our website to become a member or if you haven’t received this, message us! 🌟
