Friends of the Fal

Friends of the Fal (2025 Winners of Cornwall Wildlife Trust Volunteer Group) Friends of the Fal are a Woodland & River Community Conservation group in Cornwall.

Our aim is to connect communities with nature for the purpose of education, health and wellbeing for all ages. Friends of the Fal are totally reliant on funding and kind donations. We invite members of the public to become a member of Friends of the Fal. Membership is £10 and once you have signed up, you will receive a free quarterly newsletter packed with information and events AND you will recei

ve a free tree which will be planted in our new native hedgerow down by the Fal. You can plant the tree yourself with our guidance, or let us plant it when we are due to plant the hedgerow in November, during National Tree Week -

There is a yellow warning due to heat for humans this weekend, but nobody publishes warnings for our wildlife.

With temperatures expected to reach 32 - 33℃ over the weekend, please leave out a shallow bowl of water for our wildlife, it could be a life saver.
