A day in Dundee 🚲💙

Yesterday, CWAS Troon headed to Dundee for the Cycling Without Age Scotland 2026 Gathering — a brilliant day of sharing stories, ideas and experiences from across the CWAS family.

Our very own John was invited to join two other new chapters to answer questions about what it’s like starting up a new chapter — sharing what we’ve learned, the challenges, the laughs and everything in between. 🚲👏

And there was even more to celebrate… CWAS Troon won an award for the BEST TRISHAW NAME! 🏆🎉

The winning name? Troon Traigh Rider! 🌊🚲🏆

And we have Grace from Barrassie Primary School to thank for that brilliant name! 💕 Grace, your idea is officially award-winning — how fantastic is that?! 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who makes CWAS Troon what it is — our amazing volunteers, passengers, supporters and the wider CWAS Scotland family. ❤️

🚲💙 A wee change to our weekend trishaw rides 💙🚲

Our Saturday rides will be going ahead as planned from The Lookout on Troon Promenade, 11am and 2pm.

Unfortunately, there will be no rides this Sunday.

Friday Prom Runs ☀️🚲🍦

Fridays are fast becoming one of our busy days of the week! We head along Troon Promenade, picking up some regular passengers, while always keeping a few seats free for anyone we meet along the way who fancies a ride.

Yesterday’s sunshine called for one thing… an ice cream! 🍦 There were plenty of smiles, stories, sea views and a chance to enjoy the fresh air with good company.

Cycling Without Age is Coming to Dundonald Castle!

Looking for a lovely way to spend your Thursday morning?

Join us at Dundonald Castle Visitor Centre & Community Hub every Thursday from 1030am-12pm, where the fantastic Cycling Without Age Scotland volunteer pilots will be offering free trishaw rides around the beautiful village of Dundonald.

The specially designed trishaws can accommodate up to two passengers at a time, and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the experience, whether you’re looking for a relaxing ride, a chat, or simply something a little different!

🎉 A huge congratulations once again to all of our competition winners who helped name our trishaws and brought so much creativity and imagination to the challenge. 🎉
