CWAS Troon Providing free Trishaw rides in Troon for passengers living with limited mobility, loneliness or isolation. Trishaws are specially adapted e-bikes.

All volunteer cyclists are fully trained and PVG checked by CWAS.

🎉 The countdown is on! 🎉

We’re looking forward to joining the Troon Community Council Gala Day on Sunday 14th June at Troon Promenade, and we’d love to see you there!

A huge thank you to everyone who has entered our Name the Trishaws Competition. We’ve been blown away by the creativity, imagination and support from the local community. 🚲❤️

🏆 The winning names will be announced at 12 noon on Gala Day, so make sure you’re there to find out who has been crowned our naming champions! There will be prizes for the successful entries and, of course, plenty of excitement as our trishaws officially receive their new names.

Come along and enjoy a fantastic community day with stalls, entertainment, classic cars, fairground rides, music and much more. Our team will be there throughout the day and we’d love to chat about Cycling Without Age Scotland Troon and the difference our trishaws make to local people.

The next Troon Men’s Shed meeting is on Monday 25th May at 2pm at the Lighthouse Cristian Centre and will be a talk by CWAS Troon about their activities, including the trishaws which are used along the prom. They will be bringing a trishaw for a chance to see it up close.

Tea and coffee will be available and non-members are welcome to come along.

“POV: when the pilots discover fast forward mode… 🚴💨😂

The trishaws were absolutely flying round Troon today — promenade patrol, ice cream missions and community transport at Formula 1 speed (well… almost 😜).

🚲✨ The competition is officially rolling!

We’ll be visiting Troon Primary on Thursday morning and Muirhead on Friday morning to help promote our trishaw naming competition and get everyone involved.

A huge thank you to South Ayrshire Council Active Schools who are adding to the prizes with: 🏆 £15 per winner to use towards their Active Communities programme

And another big thank you to Ayrshire Roads Alliance who will also be donating cycling accessories for the winners 🚴‍♀️

The support from local organisations and the community has been amazing — we can’t wait to see all the creative name ideas coming in! 💛

Our three new trishaws need names — and we’re inviting pupils from local primary schools to get creative with their ideas 💡

There’s even an extra prize for the best trishaw drawing 🎨🧑‍🎨

☀️The winning names will be revealed on the 14th June down at the seafront on Gala Day beside The Lookout ☀️
