We are a registered charity and voluntary organisation offering much needed help to aid people to live as independently as possible with lunch clubs, memory café and more.

We are delighted to be taking part in the inaugural Totnes Volunteer Fair today, hosted by the Totnes job centre , from 10am–2pm 🎉

The Volunteer Fair aims to bring together local organisations and Jobcentre customers in a warm and welcoming environment, helping people to explore volunteering opportunities that can develop new skills, build confidence and provide valuable experience for their next steps.

Whether you're looking to give something back, meet new people, gain experience or simply find out more about volunteering, we'd love to see you.

🎉 What a wonderful way to launch Volunteers’ Week 1st to 7th June 2026! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to share that we have received Totnes Town Council’s Community Award in recognition of the outstanding contribution made by our volunteers.

This award celebrates the dedication, kindness and commitment of everyone who has given their time to support our organisation and the wider community. We are deeply grateful for the difference our volunteers make every day.

We were especially honoured that Nick collected the award on behalf of the late Sandra Nicholson, a much-valued former volunteer whose contribution and legacy continue to be remembered and appreciated. It was a fitting tribute to Sandra and to all those who have volunteered over the years.

As we mark the start of Volunteers’ Week, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, past and present. This recognition belongs to all of you.

Thank you for your time, your compassion and your commitment to making our community a better place. 💙

This Sunday 31st, we are delighted to be taking part in the River Dart Country Park 50th Birthday Celebrations by sharing a stand with Rowcroft Hospice 🎉

Set within 90 acres of beautiful parkland in Dartmoor National park , River Dart Country Park is one of Devon’s best-loved family attractions and campsites.

From exciting play areas and wildlife trails to their award-winning campsite and holiday park, there really is something for everyone 🌿☀️

Do come along on Sunday, it promises to be a fun-packed day, and we will also be organising some duck races for the more competitive amongst you! 🦆

We are very excited to share that Totnes Caring Volunteers have been nominated for the Community Group Award at the 2026 Town Council Community Awards 🎉

The awards ceremony is being held at the Civic Hall from 6pm this evening, where the Mayor Tim Bennett, will be presenting the awards and publicly recognising all nominees.

The event is open to everyone, and we very much hope to see some of you there later as we celebrate the wonderful contribution made by volunteers within our community 💙

Based at the Totnes Boating Association beautiful premises on the river, there could hardly be a nicer spot to spend an afternoon in good company.
