Interviews can feel nerve-wracking, especially when you’re not sure what to expect. But you don’t have to be perfect. You just need to be prepared.

Following a recent CV and employability workshop with our Youth Hub members, we’ve put together some simple interview tips to help you feel calmer, more confident and ready to show an employer what you can do.

Watch the reel for a few things to remember before your next interview.

And if interviews, applications or even knowing where to start are making you anxious, our Youth Hub team can support you one step at a time.

Last week our post-16 learners across Eat That Frog enjoyed their final day with us before the summer break. ☀️

Parents and guardians joined us to hear about their young person’s progress, see what they have been working on and meet other learners and families. For those leaving us it was also a chance to celebrate their achievements and say goodbye. Whether you are returning after the summer or continuing your journey elsewhere we have been immensely proud to watch you grow, achieve and thrive. We cannot wait to welcome many of you back and to those moving on please stay in touch and let us know what you get up to next!

🌸 We’re proud to celebrate Molly, one of our Paignton learners, who volunteers at Torre Abbey Gardens. Molly helped the team prepare for the Britain in Bloom judging on 21 July, playing her part in caring for a much-loved local space. Volunteering is helping Molly build confidence, practical skills and valuable experience while making a real difference in her community. Well done, Molly!

We were delighted to host the Post-16 SENCO Network meeting yesterday at Skills Group.

It was wonderful to welcome colleagues together for a morning of collaboration, discussion, and the sharing of good practice. Opportunities like these are invaluable, allowing us to connect, exchange ideas, and work together to continually enhance the support we provide for our SEND learners.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions. It was a pleasure to spend the morning together and strengthening our network
