Fantastic 2nd Session at Robinwood Studios on Saturday. We had vocal fun, then everyone had a go on all the instruments.Some women learned their first two chords (Am and C if you're wondering) By the end of three hours we played together like a band and it sounded just like a band rehearsing. So many smiles and mutual support and laughs. Perfect!

Long overdue post about our first session on Saturday 22nd of Feb.
It was brilliant! 8 of us in total. We watched a documentary about the Unglamorous project in Leicester, then we had a go on some instruments and Binx did some vocals! Pretty much had a punk band right there!
So we are putting our heads together about session 2. It taken longer than planned as Dodo Mabel has gone on holiday with the NHS a couple of times but she's better now!

Women! Fascists don't want you to go wild and start a punk band. So resist them by coming to the first session of the Dodo Women's Noise Collective. Tomorrow!
Saturday 22nd Feb, 2-4pm. Todmorden Fire Station Community Room. Stansfield Rd.
Find out what the project is about, have a go on some instruments, have a brew.
All women welcome, especially those over 40.
