Update: Now all gone. Thanks to everyone who came, and all our fabulous volunteers who make it all possible.

Tasty Tuesday again this week, and we have a Big Bootful of 'boot-i-ful' bread and other goodies!

Where: Tiverton Library
When: Today, Tues 10-11.30 am
All welcome. If you can use it, we'd love to share it with you.

(Five items per household, please, to ensure fair shares, and be aware that we are trialling a 'lucky dip' queuing system - you understanding and support are appreciated.)

Thanks, as ever, to Lidl Tiverton, M&S Tiverton, Tesco Express and Tesco Blundells Road for your surplus.

Today we collected, distributed and saved approximately 70kg of food, to around forty individuals and families.

The same weight as an emu.

It makes you think, doesn't it? Thanks to all the volunteers, suppliers and the amazing library who make this all possible, day in day out, all year round. You know who you are.

Update, Tuesday afternoon:
ALL GONE - thanks everyone. Approximately 70kg of food surplus moved on to good homes and saved from landfill

We're food surplus, not a food bank so if you can take it and use it. we're delighted to pass it on, and you're helping us to stop good food going into a bin. The only question you'll be asked is, 'What five items would you like today?'

Find us at the library, Phoenix Lane.

Thanks to: Tesco Express ; Big Tesco; Lidl; M&S Tiverton You guys are brilliant for looking out for us!

Cafe on SUNDAY 29th March this month

Please note we have had to change the day of our monthly Cafe for March. The same scrumptiousness but one day later for this month only. Please spread the word so folk don't turn up expecting food on the Saturday

A great opportunity for a community minded person with good organisational skills. Please share
