🔥 JULIE OWEN LEGENDS SERIES – PLAYER PROFILE #16 🔥
The Samoan machine has arrived… 🌴💥
Loma Kivalu
Front row, back row, midfield, coaching staff… if Loma wants to play there, he probably can 😅
A human wrecking ball with surprisingly soft hands, Loma brings power, physicality and enough carrying metres to keep an entire pack happy. The type of player who makes defenders question whether rugby was the right hobby choice 🔥
Now stepping up for something far bigger than rugby ❤️
This event is about legacy. About honouring Julie Owen. And raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity — supporting families facing the toughest battles.
💬 “I’m really looking forward to being part of a day that celebrates an incredible woman and supports such an important cause. Rugby has a unique way of bringing people together and I know how much this event means to Mikey, his family and everyone who knew Julie. It’s an honour to pull on the shirt, support Mikey and the Owen family, and help make the day as special and memorable as possible while raising money for a fantastic cause.”
🏆 Career Highlights:
• Rotherham Titans
• Coventry RFC
• Chinnor RFC
🤣 Quick Fire with Loma:
• Go-to excuse after a bad game?
The GPS stats were wrong. I definitely made those carries, tackles and line breaks. The technology just couldn’t keep up with me 🤣
• Most embarrassing moment?
Called for a spectacular offload out the back in front of a packed crowd. Unfortunately the only person there to catch it was the touch judge 😅
• Dream position swap?
Fly half. Stand deep, kick everything, point at spaces and tell everyone else where to run. Looks like a pretty good life from where I’m standing 🤣
