🪛 🪚 🎂 Celebrating International Repair Day in style in Titchfield! 🎂 🪚 🪛

A huge thank you to both volunteers and visitors to Titchfield Repair Cafe on Saturday, which happened to coincide with International Repair Day.

Between us we managed to:

🔧 repair 12 items
🗑 save 68kg of waste from going to landfill
💭 prevent an estimated 113kg of CO2 emissions
🎂 eat a huge amount of cake!

Another huge thank you for having us to Wendy and the team at The Queens Head - and sorry about the impromptu fire alarm test! 🤯 😆

And lastly, congratulations to one lucky visitor - Jackie Davis - for winning our special International Repair Day raffle prize of a £20 voucher for afternoon tea at The Queen’s Tearoom - yet more cake coming up! 🎂 😋

Save the date - next Repair Cafe in Titchfield will be Saturday 16th January 2027!

Edging tools lost their edge?
Pick axe a bit pointless?
Secateurs a bit soft?

Remember - a blunt knife is more dangerous than a sharp one!

Fortunately for you we have free knife-and-tool sharpening on Saturday morning - come along and get them in shape for summer!

We were full but have had a couple of last minute cancellations.

Couple of slots left - link in comments :)

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday :)

**Please note - whilst we always aim to be as accessible as possible, we are upstairs in the venue this time and sadly there are 9 steps to negotiate and no lift available.
