The purpose of the Jubilee Park Centre is to provide a place where the local community can meet for economic, social, recreational and educational purposes and provide a venue for general community activities and to build social capital. In October 2014, the Sandwell Council approved the appointment of Bangladeshi Women’s Association Ltd (BWA), to manage the centre under a long-term lease and mana
gement agreement. The agreement stipulates that the Association in the sustainable delivery and management of the centre must ensure the long term future, development and success of Jubilee Park Centre which includes an office, kitchen, meeting room, social room, community hall, male and female changing rooms as well as a AstroTurf and a pitch for sports activities; and develop the Centre into a thriving Community Hub providing a variety of high quality community development services to local people, particularly for residents of Great Bridge, Tipton Neighbourhoods.
