What is Peak Pantry?
We're a mobile community food pantry, created by Zink in Buxton, bringing affordable food to communities across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.
Our prices are much lower than supermarkets and a bag of 10 items costs £5. We hope this will help you if you're finding food costs difficult. You don't need a referral - just turn up. Please bring a bag with you!
You'll find a good range of store cupboard items including tinned meat and fish, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, cereal, pasta, cooking sauces, ingredients, baby products, pet food, toiletries and more.
On your second visit, joining as a member costs £10 for the year.
We have just launched and our friendly team will be at these locations every week:
- Wednesdays: Harpur Hill Village Hall car park, 9.30-10am.
- Wednesdays: Fairfield Infant and Nursery School car park, 2-2.30pm (starting 29 April)
- Thursdays: Castleton Village Hall car park, 2-2.30pm
We'll be rolling out to other locations soon, including:
