🇬🇧Tickhill has today been ‘dressed’ for the summer with our flags flying in the sunshine against blue skies.
We wanted them up in time for May Day, the 3rd anniversary of our Kings Coronation and VE Day ahead of Tickhill’s Art Exhibition and then our Scarecrow Festival.
Flags will be flying throughout the summer months, we hope that Tickhill enjoy them.

Are you planning to make a Scarecrow this year?
Please let us know if you are, so we can ensure you are on the map.
We would love a few more Scarecrows, and you still have a couple of weeks to be creative if you’d like to join in the fun 🤩

Would like to have a say in events etc. taking place in Tickhill? Could you support the Scarecrow Festival or Christmas Late Night event? Perhaps you could assist with the organisation of flags and Christmas trees that help to make Tickhill centre a welcoming and attractive place for residents and visitors?
Please come along to our next meeting on Wednesday 25th March 6.30pm in the Carpenters Arms Conservatory. That night will also be our AGM, and we are looking for a Secretary for the role of minute-taking at our meetings, should you be able to help with this (but don't let this put you off coming to the meeting!)
We hope to see some new faces to join our welcoming group of individuals who enjoy making things happen in Tickhill.

The small Christmas trees on the front of shops and businesses in Tickhill were due to have been removed this morning. Unfortunately, although the team were out bright and early as planned, the inclement weather proved to be a problem, with many of the Christmas trees firmly frozen into their holders, impossible to remove.
Some were removed successfully, but after finding that more were frozen in position than could be removed, the decision was made to delay removal until temperatures improve a little.
We will monitor things over the next few days and rearrange as soon as possible.

To improve safety we have been given permission to place cones to prevent parking along this bay this evening.
Please remember it is still a very busy road going through Tickhill and do take care.
Unfortunately there are still a couple of cars that have parked for longer than the 1hr allowed and are still there. If yours is one of them, we would be very grateful if you’d move it. Thank you
