Thurrock 5 were treated to a fabulous tea party as we celebrated the group’s 9th Anniversary.🥳🥳🥳
Our lovely volunteer, Lindsey, hosted a delicious ploughman’s lunch followed by a tasty lemon meringue dessert. After the meal, we enjoyed a wonderfully entertaining quiz that brought plenty of laughter and fun to the afternoon.🥳
The final quiz challenged our guests to match baby photographs to our volunteers. This proved to be both hilarious and heartwarming, creating some very special moments and lots of smiles.🤗

A very big thank you to Lindsey for all her brilliant planning and organisation, which made the afternoon such a success. We also celebrated Margaret’s birthday, and everyone took home a slice of the delicious celebration cake.🥳

A huge thank you to our fabulous volunteers. Without their dedication and support, these wonderful tea parties simply would not be possible.🤗

It was a truly memorable afternoon filled with friendship, fun, laughter, and celebration. 🩷🩵🩷🩵

Re-engage Thurrock were delighted to be invited to attend a charity funding presentation at Procter & Gamble today. 🩷

We were incredibly fortunate to be one of the beneficiaries of an amazing £5,000 donation. Employees at Procter & Gamble took part in a nomination and voting process, selecting three local charities to receive support from their wonderful charity fund.

A very BIG thank you to all the fantastic Procter & Gamble employees for choosing Re-engage Thurrock and supporting our work to reduce isolation and loneliness among older people across Thurrock. Your generosity will make a real difference to the lives of many older residents in our community. 🩷

A special thank you to Eylem for organising such a wonderful event, and to Eylem and May for the warm welcome and for looking after us so well throughout the day. It was such pleasure to meet everyone and learn more about your commitment to supporting local charities. 🩷

🩷 Thank you, Procter & Gamble, for helping us continue to bring friendship, connection, and companionship to older people in Thurrock. Your support means so much and will have a lasting impact on the lives of those needing our support in Thurrock 🩷

Re-engage Thurrock held a Volunteer Celebration Evening as part of Volunteers’ Week at Headon Hall.🩷

A huge thank you to everyone who came along. It was wonderful to see so many of you there. We do not often get the opportunity to come together, catch up, share our friendship, and celebrate everything that we achieve as a team. In fact, we even ran out of chairs! 😊

The evening was our opportunity to thank all of our amazing volunteers for everything they do to make Re-engage Thurrock such a special charity and our tea parties such memorable occasions for our guests. Your kindness, enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment mean so much, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you do.🩷

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of Re-engage Thurrock and without you, none of our wonderful tea parties and special events would be possible. Thank you for helping us bring friendship, companionship, joy, and laughter to our elderly residents across Thurrock.🩷

Wishing you all a Very Happy Volunteers’ Week, and thank you for being such an important part of the Re-engage Thurrock family. 💕😊

Sending love and hugs 💝💝

Thank you so much to the family and friends of Sylvia Bellingham who donated an amazing £613 which was collected at her funeral in lieu of flowers. We are very grateful to Beverley & Graham for choosing our ReEngage Thurrock charity in Sylvia’s memory. 🥰
Sylvia always enjoyed the ReEngage tea parties and Games Nights especially playing Five Crowns. She made a lot of new friends within T6 and the wider ReEngage Thurrock groups and is sorely missed by us all. Sleep peacefully lovely lady 💞

A very BIG Re-engage Thurrock thank you to the Rotary Club of the Mardyke Valley for their incredibly generous donation of £500 at their Presentation Evening last night 🩷
We were one of the very lucky beneficiaries of the funds raised during the Santa Sleigh Run, and we would also like to thank all the wonderful Thurrock residents who donated so generously.🩷
Our lovely volunteer Sarah was delighted to receive the cheque, presented by Graham Dockrill, Secretary, and Paul Luke, Chairman of the Rotary Club of the Mardyke Valley.
The Rotary Club has supported Re-engage Thurrock for many years, and we deeply appreciate their continued generosity. Their support enables us to keep providing free tea parties for our older Thurrock residents, helping to reduce loneliness and offer much-needed companionship.

Thank you for making such a meaningful difference 🌟
