Thelwall WI Thelwall Women's Institute. This group is a social group for ladies, part of the National Federation of Women's Institutes.

This page will provide updates on up coming events and social gatherings. The WI meets the first Tuesday of each month (except August) at 7:30 at Thelwall Parish Hall, Bell Lane, Thelwall, WA4 2SX. We usually have speakers followed by refreshments, and social evenings. As a group with also arrange trips, meals out and a walking club.

We had a great time the other week having lunch at The Pickering Arms. Thank you for the lovely meals.
Our next meeting is tomorrow evening Tuesday 2nd July at 7:30 at Thelwall Parish Hall. We will be welcoming a return speaker titled "More army travel tales". Visitors welcome, we just ask for a small donation of £2 towards costs & refreshments.

We have a speaker at our meeting tonight. The talk is titled "Signs of the Zodiac". The meeting is at Thelwall Parish Hall for 7:30 start followed by refreshments. We had a great evening last month. We were entertained by the beautiful voice of Sarah Lowe Mullins singing songs from the shows and contemporary music. She has been singing regularly at our meetings over many years and will soon be invited back.
This month we look forward to our speaker Rob Mason with a talk entitled ”Northern humour and songs”. Sounds interesting.

Back by popular demand tomorrow evening we have Sarah Lowe singing songs form the shows and some popular music. She has been coming to Thelwall for many years to entertain us.
