Singing together is a powerful thing!

Our MORABE Community Choir is growing, and this term we are starting a new choir in Melton.

A welcoming community space to connect, enjoy the wellbeing benefits of singing, and share great music, led by our inspiring vocal leader, Ms Wakeman.

No experience needed just come along.

Fridays (term time only)
Melton: 9:45am–10:45am
Eyke: 2:15pm–3.15pm

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break! Mini Music and Community Choir will be back at Eyke Primary School this Friday and we look forward to seeing you all! However, just a reminder that there will be no Mini Music at Melton Primary School tomorrow (Monday 13th) due to the school being closed for a PD day.

This is just a little reminder that there is no Mini Music or Community Choir tomorrow as it is the last day of term at Eyke Primary School.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for your continued support and we wish you all a very Happy Easter! 🐣🐰🍫

Both Mini Music and Community Choir will resume on Friday, 17th April. See you then!

We are delighted to share that MORABE has been awarded funding from Suffolk County Council’s Culture Project Fund to support our Community Pathway programme in 2026–27.

This future investment will help us continue creating high quality music opportunities for children, families and communities across rural Suffolk.

The February half term has been and gone and now we are back! Both Mini Music and Community Choir resume tomorrow and we look forward to seeing you all!

Mini Music takes place every Friday morning, during term time, in Eyke Primary School Hall and runs from 9:30am until 10:30am. Sessions are £3.00 per family and a very warm welcome awaits together with a lovely hot cup of tea or coffee.

And not forgetting our wonderful Community Choir which meets every Friday afternoon, during term time, and runs from 2:15pm until 3:00pm and, again, takes place in Eyke Primary School Hall. Sessions are £4.00 per person and no singing experience is required at all, so please don't be scared! We are a very warm and friendly bunch and welcome any new members with open arms!

We really hope to see you there! 🧡

A huge welcome to our newest MORABE beginner violin and cello players at Melton Primary, the next generation of young musicians joining our growing community 🎻🎵

Big thanks to Norfolk & Suffolk Music Hub for equipping our players with instruments. Your support helps us open doors, lift barriers, and nurture musical journeys right from day one.

Did you know singing has been scientifically proven to lower cortisol and relieve stress and tension, leading to improved overall well being?

Come and join us this Tuesday 13th at Melton Primary School for a friendly and relaxed sing with other new mums and mums to be. The session's are free and all about making YOU feel good.
