As we look back over the past 12 months,I would like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the Rockits SEN CIC journey.
It's been another busy and rewarding year, and none of what we do would be possible without the incredible people who support us.
At Rockits SEN CIC, we fundraise so that we can provide free play sessions, memberships, events and support groups for children and adults with additional needs and disabilites.

To our Friends of Rockits – thank you for your generous donations, sponsorships and continued support. Every contribution makes a real difference to the families and communities we support.

To our wonderful café volunteers, Hearties helpers and committee team – thank you for giving up your time so generously. Your commitment means so much to us and to the families that visit.

To my amazing staff team – thank you for your hard work, dedication, brilliant service and teamwork.

What has our community interest company achieved together this year?
•80 low-income families supported with funded play memberships.
•111 fully funded private hires for local schools and charities.
•301 hours of free centre use for disabled adults.
•14 free social events for SEND individuals and parents/carers.

Looking ahead, we're excited to welcome even more schools and charities through our doors next year and continue growing our New Horizons community for adults with additional needs and disabilities.

We're also counting down to our BIG Stronger Together SEND Conference on 30th January. This will be a wonderful opportunity to bring families, carers, professionals and organisations together.

But before all of that, it's time to send this little thank you out before the Christmas fun begins... and before I'm completely taken over by a very busy Rockits Christmas Grotto!

🎃👻 WHAT A LOVELY EVENING AT ROCKITS! 🎧🧡

Yesterday evening, Rockits SEN CIC hosted another fantastic New Horizons event, bringing adults with additional needs and disabilities together for our Halloween Silent Disco! 🎶💃

New Horizons is all about creating opportunities for friendships, socialising, having fun and enjoying activities in a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can be themselves. ❤️

And we're already looking forward to our next event… 🎄✨

🎅 NEW HORIZONS CHRISTMAS PARTY 🎅

Join us for a festive afternoon filled with:
☕ A hot chocolate station
🍪 Christmas cookie decorating
🎶 A Christmas music party
🎅 A very special guest from the North Pole!

And the best bit? ALL of our New Horizons groups and events are fully funded by Rockits SEN CIC, meaning they are completely FREE to attend!

Did you also know that adults can visit Rockits and use our SEND sensory room free of charge? It's a welcoming space to relax, regulate and enjoy some sensory time.

We're so proud to be creating these opportunities and look forward to welcoming more adults and their carers into the Rockits family.

Huge thank you to Sue and team for raising an incredible £1000 for Rockits SEN CIC at their charity barn dance this weekend.
We are so incredibly grateful.
The much needed funds are going towards our SEND room refurb which includes wall & door padding, shatterproof mirrors and seating. We are very proud to be supporting a lot of disabled adults now at Rockits and it’s essential we ensure this room is a safe as possible.
