Rockits Sensory Sensory and Soft Play Centre About the teacher! Beth is musically trained and has taught singing and piano lessons to children and adults for 13 years.

Baby and Toddler Rockits is not a franchise, each lesson is taught by Beth who has a written syllabus which follows the early years guidelines and focuses on the musical tool 'solfege'. Baby Rockits started in 2018 when Beth had her son. She now has another baby who comes along to classes too! Beth is fully DBS checked, first aid trained and has public liability insurance. Not only does Beth teach

Baby and Toddlers all about music, she also helps run choirs which have been very successful in Tenterden and Hawkhurst over the last decade. She is very passionate about music, especially in the early years. ART CLUB WITH LOUISA 🌈
A brand new creative club for children aged 4+, where little artists can imagine, create, experiment and shine! 💫

Every Thursday | 3.30–4.30pm
Just £7 per session!

From collaging, painting and drawing to printing, sculpture,crafts and plenty of creative surprises… every week will be a chance to try something new and get stuck in! 🎨✂️🖌️

🌈 Fully inclusive and welcoming to all abilities
🧸 Baby siblings welcome FREE
💙 Sensory rooms remain open for children who need a little regulation time or a quiet break
🖼️ End-of-term art shows to celebrate and showcase all our amazing young artists!

Parents can stay and enjoy the session or drop off!

‼️‼️🧁Did you know our café is open to everyone..you don’t even need to book a session (or even have a child with you). Whether you fancy coffee and cake (delicious cake I may add) or a lunch..please do consider stopping by at Rockits.
Our wonderful volunteers (and Nanny Rockits) very kindly give up their time so that all money made at the café helps towards our core costs.
Today’s bakes were…
Cupcakes, shortbread cookies, Paddington iced cookies, school tray bake, Matilda chocolate button cake, muffins (too many to list), deluxe millionaires, gypsy tart, flapjack and lots more.

🚨 PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THIS PETITION…

…if you think your child’s play should carry 20% VAT.

Don’t sign it if you think running, climbing, exploring, socialising and simply being a child should be taxed at the same rate as many non-essential purchases.

And definitely don’t sign it if you think it makes perfect sense that indoor play admissions are charged 20% VAT, while many other activities enjoyed by children are treated differently.

BUT….. if, like us, you think play matters — and that keeping it affordable for families matters too — then you might want to do the exact opposite. 😉

This evening, we were very lucky to have been invited to the Weald of Kent Awards.
We were amongst lots of other businesses and had a great time catching up with our friends at the Tenterden Counselling Service.
Rockits was shortlisted from over 200 nominees for Local Business of the Year.
We unfortunately didn’t win but I feel so incredibly proud to have reached the final and to be recognised amongst other brilliant businesses.
Rockits is family run and our success is hugely down to our loyal community. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you ALL for continuing to support us. Our busy season is approaching and I can’t wait to make the next few months magical for your families.
