Thank you to all involved. This is what it was all for 🥰🥰

Thanks to a generous grant from Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire Sands, a Sands - baby loss charity volunteer-led Group, a bespoke pull-down bed has been installed in the bereavement room on the Labour Ward at Hospital 💚

This new addition will allow parents to stay close and comfort one another during an incredibly difficult time, creating a more family-orientated and private space.

Alison Jones, Clinical and Operational Lead Midwife, said: “It will have a profound impact, and we’re incredibly grateful to Sands for making it possible.”

✨ We are absolutely delighted to share that not only have we reached our target for the medical double bed — we have smashed it! ✨
We have raised over £20,000, and donations are still coming in, so we can’t confirm the exact total just yet.
Any surplus funds will remain with Sands, helping us continue our core mission of supporting bereaved parents after the loss of their pregnancy or baby.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single one of you who supported, donated, and shared our vision.
