PODS (Parents Opening Doors) is a charity that works with, involves and supports families who have a child or young person aged 0-25 with an additional need, disability or SEND. As a peer led organisation we have a wide range of experience across all age ranges. Our core funding is through a Department for Education Participation Grant and our wider offer is supported from Reaching Communities Lot

tery grant, and smaller ad-hoc grants for specific work projects. Our core work areas of the Charity include:

* PODS Parent Carer Forum - working with LA, Health, Social Care and third sector organisations to ensure parent carer participation and co-production is embedded across all service areas.

* PODS Befriending Scheme - offering emotional support and listening service.

* PODS Activities - Trips, family groups, play sessions,

* PODS Fundraising - supporting the charity to become more sustainable and offering fun opportunities.

* PODS Parent Carer Forum is part of the wider National Network of Parent Carer Forums.
