Teignmouth Community Carnival Teignmouth Community Carnival will be providing variety of events for the whole community to enjoy.

As it traditionally has been, it will be held during the last week of July, with smaller fundraisers held throughout the year.

Little heads up that some of our events require a bit of planning to participate.
Our programmes with full details and timings will be available to buy around the end June to plan further... but take this little tip of the day and just plan to come to The Den every day 25th July - 1st August 2026!

🥰There's been a recent flurry of enquiries about entering the Carnival procession which is brilliant to hear so many people wanting to take part 😃

🗓And also when it is... Carnival is running from Saturday 25th July to Saturday 1st August with entertainment every day and evening. The procession is on Thursday 30th (gathering on seafront from 4pm procession starts at 7pm.

🎶🏆 We have a great line up put together (more info coming soon) and full details with times will be available in our programmes which will be available to buy from around the end of June.

📝Our website is due to be updated and all entry forms (for procession and tug of war etc) will be available on there with links on our social media around the end of June.

If anyone has any enquiries they would like answering before then please message on here or email [email protected] (we respond as soon as we can, but as we are all volunteers that work full time it may sometimes take a little time)

💥One of the new events added to Carnival week is the Carnival Tug of war! 💪So if you think you and your mates have got what it takes to become Carnival champions get your team of 8 together for Friday 31st July, kindly hosted by Combe Tuggers
🧐 🎶Rumour has it there will definitely maybe some brilliant music to follow that evening too...
🫵Let's get some friendly competition rivalry going on, please tag away any clubs, pubs, groups, businesses you think should enter a team!

We are still a little short of our sponsorship target, so if any local businesses or individuals that we haven't yet confirmed with are interested in sponsoring please do message us or email [email protected] for more info.
We are very very close to our programme printing deadline so let us know asap to be included in the sponsors lists.

It's not just the sponsorship money that keeps the Carnival wheels turning, but the voluntary work provided too, without both of these it wouldn't happen.
Invaluable help and advice from Paul Burgess, Binfield Commercial Insurance Brokers Ltd, Greenwood Accountancy, medical cover from EzyMed, and all the volunteers involved in every aspect of the event from putting up fences to serving drinks and everything in between, it's with thanks to all the volunteers it happens.

We will soon be looking for volunteers for things like, working the bar, marshalling the procession, keeping the area clean and tidy throughout events and more!

The dates are 25th July to 1st August, have a think if you can spare some time that week to join us.
