A very big thank you to Mark Willing from Jay's AIM for his excellent hands on demonstration of CPR and defibrillation and for showing us how we might save a life. In addition, we sang to our Birthday Belles, enjoyed delicious Easter biscuits made by our fabulous catering team, and had fun with a brilliant Easter Egg Hunt and our Flowers in an Egg Cup competition.

We had a superb Bright Sparks session this week. Many thanks to our wonderful member who guided us making cross stitch bookmarks. It was a lovely session, lots of fun and laughter and of course lots of tea and biscuits!

We had a lovely busy meeting this week, and welcomed 12 visitors. We enjoyed a fun and interesting talk by children’s author John Townsend, sang to our Birthday Belles, tried to crack the code on the Easter Egg hunt, and ate delicious cakes made by our fabulous catering team.

Wonderful meeting this month! We welcomed a new member, our amazing catering team provided a delicious spread of refreshments, we sang to our Birthday Belles, had some great entries in our Pipe Cleaner Art competition, presented the annual Rose Bowl to our competition winner, and enjoyed a hilarious and entertaining talk on Life in the 50s by Brenda Loosemore.
