✨🌈 PEOPLE OF THE TEES VALLEY - HAVE YOUR SAY! 🌈✨

At Curious Arts we’re working hard to design projects and events that celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture and communities across the Tees Valley and beyond, and we want to hear from you!

Our work has always been shaped by the wants and needs of our communities from planning right through to celebrating together at our events. By completing our “Have Your Say” survey, you can help us to design a line-up of exciting, celebratory LGBTQIA+ projects and events that are relevant to you and your community.

🔗 Take part here: https://tinyurl.com/3wzcjtsj
❗️ The survey closes Wednesday 29th July, so be sure to share your thoughts!

We encourage and welcome contributions from all - LGBTQIA+ community members, friends, family and allies.

As a thank you for your contribution at the end of the survey you’ll find the opportunity to enter our prize draw to win a bundle of Curious Arts Merchandise designed by LGBTQIA+ creatives from across the North East! 🎁✨

We’ve had some questions about what Pride across the Tees Valley looks like this year and so wanted to share an update.

Pride In Tees Valley was a two-year programme generously supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority. The project ended in 2025 and with changes in investment and our current political climate, Curious Arts’ Pride activities are a little different this year…

💜 Hartlepool Pride is happening this Saturday 13th June - a joyful celebration in the heart of Hartlepool with free activities for all ages.

💛 For those in Stockton, join us at:
Rough Cut Revolutions x Stockton Pride at ARC Stockton, Thursday 11th June
Mini Pride for families at Preston Park Museum, Saturday 27th June
Mini Pride for families at Wellington Square, Saturday 18th July
We’re working with the council to see what else might be possible - watch this space!

❤️In Redcar, we’ll be popping up at Between the Tides with Wheelie Proud on Saturday 22nd/23rd August.

💙And in Middlesbrough, save the date for Saturday 29th August

We re-branded our social pages to “Teesside Pride” so we could share everything you need to know to join us at Hartlepool Pride this weekend, your earliest opportunity to celebrate Pride at home, here in the Tees Valley.

We hope you’ll join us to celebrate together this summer. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

For our friends in Darlington, be sure to follow the council for updates about this year’s Pride weekend.
