The Ruils Theatre Group debuted their new show "What's Up Henry?" at Richmond Mencap's celebration event yesterday at York House. A very moving performance, bravo 👏👏👏

Great to visit Teddington Constitutional Club on Monday for the first of our High Street Business Access Audits! Our user-led group Your Say, has been developing an audit framework over the last year and are now offering free audits for Teddington businesses on the high street to help improve accessibility for customers.

On Monday, We were pleased to receive the first of hopefully many accessibility audits, delivered by members of local Disability charity Ruils Independent Living.

They used their lived experience of Disability to identify what works well and areas of the club where access can be improved. Looking forward to making adjustments so that everyone can access the club, no matter what their needs are!

Our Campaigns team had a fantastic time last Thursday at the The Sheila Mckechnie Foundation National Campaign Awards 2026!

Campaigns Intern Lauren was nominated for the Young Campaigner of the Year Award and won runner up! We are so proud of her and the work she has done over the last year with First Bus London - educating drivers about disability and access needs through a video and comms campaign. This is one of the best parts about running a campaigns internship scheme - seeing new campaigners take action and win change!

Congrats Lauren, this recognition is much deserved 👏👏👏

Another fantastic Bus Access Day on the books 🚌

Thanks to all who came out last Friday for our bus day in partnership with First Bus London. We saw over 40 people on the day and enjoyed bus and control room tours, guided activities and chatting about accessible transport.

We can't wait until next year!

However… Robbie Hillhouse is taking things, not just to another level, to another planet… he will set off at 0630 on Saturday morning to Run 100 Miles… from Wi******er to Eastbourne, that is 161 kms or equivalent to 32 Park runs back to back, and over much more challenging terrain than most… he will of course be running through the night as he has just 30 hours to complete the course… did I mention Robbie is 60 this year?
