Yesterday was FIVE sleeps and today only FOUR more sleeps until the now Famous Teddington Duck Race next Sunday 31 May - and there are some quacking prizes! All part of the fun at Teddington RNLI’s open day 12-4 pm. Come meet the volunteer crew and find out about volunteering yourself. There will be Water Safety displays too, along with lots of food from local restaurants… and home-made cakes made by the crew!

As the weather warms up and lakes, rivers and the sea look so inviting, remember Float to Live, it could save your life.

Remember:
- Tilt your head back with ears submerged
- Relax and try to control your breathing
- Use your hands to help you stay afloat
- It's okay if your legs sink, we all float differently

Practice these steps at a supervised location, like a swimming pool or lifeguarded beach so you know what to do in an emergency.
