Last week Mike Rigby and I caught up with the Gaumont Palace community Trust to find out more about their vision and plans, should the building become available.
It is great to see passion for arts and culture within the town and for the group to be looking at the potential should it ever not be a bingo hall. There are no plans for it to change use in the foreseeable future and having attended for my birthday in recent months, it was well used and a fun activity.
The group have a great event coming up to raise funds to look at the options e.g feasibility studies. It looks like a fun night planned.
