Somerset Woodland Association Somerset Woodland Association has evolved from the Western Somerset Woodland Project.

The association brings together woodland businesses, woodland owners and local communities by offering events, workshops, training and networking opportunities throughout the year. The project has developed a range of contacts since starting and is now supporting the establishment of a Woodland Association and Trade Directory, to help improve the local economy and strengthen the network of contrac

tors and woodland owners. It is hoped the association will bring together woodland businesses, woodland owners and local communities by offering events, workshops, training and networking opportunities throughout the year. The association will help to promote sustainable woodland management for small woodland owners as well as helping to improve connections with those with a desire to volunteer, work or play in woodlands, as well as pooling resources.
