Community Kicks Youth Club Tamworth

Two years ago I posted this... WOW 😍 Add an extra 150+ onto that figure and now we do practically almost have the building 😂

👏🏻🥳

For the last 9 months we have been running our weekly sessions and it's naturally grown...

We have never advertised it & the kids brought their friends and it grew from there.

Our move to the football factory was a huge one to make & our very first week there we had 34 in attendance 😍💪🏼

WOW!!!!

We are almost at full capacity before we need to look at renting the whole factory out just for us 😅🙌🏼

You can now purchase your child's space on our brand new website 👀 www.communitykicksfc.co.uk

We have taken on 6 new extra staff and coaches now 💙 They will all receive full training and gain additional qualifications and courses to add to their CV's 👏🏻

Welcome to the team everyone!

That makes 15 of us in total 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

💙⚽️ WANT TO JOIN THE KICKS TEAM? ⚽️💙

We’re recruiting some extra people to join us on Friday evenings in PAID roles!

And before you scroll past thinking “I’m not a referee…” 😂

YOU DO NOT NEED A REFEREE QUALIFICATION!

If you can…

⚽️ Spot when someone’s been fouled
👉🏼 Work out whose throw-in it is
😂 Keep a game moving
🙌🏼 Encourage our kids
💙 Be a positive person for them to have around

…we can help with the rest!

This could be perfect for mums, dads, older siblings, young people wanting experience, or even some of our older Kicks kids who are ready to take that next step.

You must be 16+ and an Enhanced DBS check will be required.

🌱 WE’LL INVEST IN YOU TOO.

Training will be provided, with continued development and opportunities to build experience alongside your own goals... whether that’s refereeing, coaching, youth work or something completely different.

And there’s no commitment to every Friday.

Each week we ask the team for their availability. If you’re free, brilliant... we can assign you to a pitch. If you’re busy that week, no problem ☺️

📍 Vision Football Factory, Wilnecote
📅 Friday evenings for 2 hours from 5:45pm

Ultimately, we need people who will show up for our kids, encourage them and make Friday nights somewhere they want to be. 💙

Interested? Drop us a message and tell us a little bit about you! ⚽️

⛑️ FIRST AID UPDATED ✅

Another weekend, another bit of learning behind the scenes at Kicks 💙

This weekend we completed our updated First Aid training.

With so many young people coming through our doors every week, keeping our training, safeguarding and knowledge up to date is incredibly important to us ⚽️

02/10/2026

We have had 11 new members join us this week & 5 NEW girls 🥹😍

A very exciting week behind the scenes and lots happening... can't wait to share all 💙⚽️

Kids get SO competitive when winning Haribo's is on the cards 🤣⚽️💙

Penalty shoot out to end our session tonight for our younger pitches... We added an extra pitch, 12 extra children & we have extended our session an extra 30 mins 🥳

That's over 50 children per session supported by us 💪🏼

💙 WE’RE RECRUITING: COMMUNITY YOUTH OUTREACH WORKERS

📍 Tamworth | 💷 £20 per hour | Paid role

We’re looking for two local people who want to make a real difference to young people in Tamworth.

This isn’t a role where you’ll sit behind a desk.

You’ll be out in our communities, working alongside another member of the team, meeting young people where they are, building relationships, listening, having honest conversations and helping connect them with Community Kicks and other positive opportunities.

We want people who understand Tamworth and understand teenagers.

You might have relevant lived experience yourself. You might already be someone young people naturally talk to. You might simply be passionate about making your community better.

We’re looking for someone who can build trust, have a laugh and relate to young people... but who is also confident enough to say “come on mate, you know that’s not a good idea” when it’s needed.

You don’t need to pretend you’ve lived a perfect life.

You do need to be reliable, approachable, non-judgemental and genuinely care about giving young people better choices and opportunities.

You will never carry out outreach work alone. Outreach will be undertaken with another member of the team and within our safeguarding procedures.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required and training and ongoing support will be provided. This role is only 1 hour per week until we have the scope to expand.

⚽️ Interested?

Rather than sending us a formal CV, tell us a little about you, your connection to Tamworth and why you think you’d be good at connecting with our young people.

📩 Message us at Community Kicks to have a chat.

WE’RE EXPANDING!! 💙⚽️

More young people. More football. More time. More opportunities. And more people joining our team to make it happen. 🥹

Community Kicks is growing.

From this Friday, we’re extending our sessions from 60 minutes to 90 minutes AND adding another pitch... meaning we can welcome another 10–15 young people every single week.

And this is just the beginning… 👀

We’ve got something VERY big to tell you.

Soon. 💙
