Great to see funding being used to improve facilities as well as reduce energy usage and costs

We are extremely pleased to report that the Riley-Smith Hall has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Yorkshire Green Community Fund to improve energy efficiency at the hall. Specifically, the grant will be put towards replacing the array of old high-wattage tungsten-halogen STAGE SPOTLIGHTS with new energy saving LED lamps. The old lights used 16,000 watts when all in use. The new ones will use just 10% of the power. The new lights will be installed over the coming few months.
