Ace Week usually takes place in the last full week of October, starting on a Sunday. It was originally known as As*xuality Awareness Week when it was first held in 2010. It's a week dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of the as*xual community. As As*xuality has become more widely known about, this week has evolved into a larger celebration of Ace identities across the spectrum, taking on its current name in 2019.

As*xuality is a s*xual orientation and describes people who may have little to no s*xual attraction for others. It's an umbrella term with some other identities including Greys*xual and Demis*xual. *xual

Now in its fifth year, Genderfluid Visibility Week has been taking place between 17th - 24th October since 2021. Its main goal is to educate people and raise awareness about genderfluid identities.

It's a lesser known identity, but the idea of genderfluidity has existed in many cultures around the world for about 3000 years. In recent history the first known use of the term 'genderfluid' was in 1993, and is used to describe those whose gender may fluctuate daily, weekly, or monthly.
