Repair Cafe in Swanage and Purbeck

SATURDAY 27TH 1030 to 1230, Herston Village Hall Jubilee Road.
The beach will be busy so come along to Repair Cafe if you have something broken or not working that we can try and repair. If you know someone who enjoys fixing, bring them along to meet us and consider joining our happy group.
If you do not have fixing needs we will be joined by representatives from Sustainable Swanage who are looking at options to extend recycling beyond the wheely bin. Come along to learn more and chat about the opportunities.
Our July event will be jointly with Sustainable Wareham in Wareham Town Hall and in August we will all be enjoying the Carnival so, don.t miss your chance to get something fixed.

A new community group focusing on all manner of recycling is being established by Sustainable Swanage. They will be joining us at our Repair Cafe on 27 June 1030am to 1230 at Herston Village Hall. Jubilee Road. Drop by to find out more. Refreshments available..
Repair Cafe volunteers will be ready for the challenge of avoiding broken items being recycled by fixing them first.

Big thank you to our friends at Greengage Community Garden for inviting us to join their open day yesterday.
Following many conversations with visitors, and those at the Herston Picnic our June Repair Cafe may be busy!

All set up at Greengage Community Garden open day. 11am to 3pm. Prospect Crescent Swanage. Tea and cake, plants and glorious weather. Drop by and see what is happening.

Our friends Greengage Community Garden, Prospect Crescent, Swanage are holding an open day on Friday 22 May from 11a.m. to 3p.m. Our display and information stand will be taking part. Drop by to see what they do. Refreshments available

Plant sale with our friends from Greengage Community Garden with kind help from Swanage Library. Sales are brisk, come soon!

We are holding a plant sale at Swanage Library, Saturday 9 May, 11am to 3pm. Pictures show some of the herbs, veg and flowering plants available and freshly cut rhubarb. Come along and see us for plants and a chat about Repair Cafe. (Ability to do repairs on the day will be limited but we can give advice)

Recently received a very kind testimonial from a happy visitor to the Repair Cafe held at Herston. We were able to guide the owner to a supplier of the part and then install it (with a little help from YouTube)
