Let’s Talk About Death and Dying

Today, Claire, our Coordinator, and Jo, one of our Assistant Patient Coordinators, attended a Dying Matters event held at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, hosted by the Palliative Care team.

The event was part of Dying Matters Week and provided an opportunity for staff and visitors at QEH to learn more about the support and services available locally for those affected by cancer and/or facing end-of-life care.

It was a valuable and insightful day, helping to open up important conversations around death and dying, and highlighting the compassionate care and resources available within our community.

It also provided a great opportunity to network with other organisations, strengthening partnerships and supporting a collaborative approach to delivering the best possible care for patients.

Artichoke – Thank You!

Their fantastic Spring Fashion Show on Saturday raised an amazing £433.92! A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported this wonderful event.

Artichoke continues to champion us as their chosen charity, organising events to raise funds which help us support local people through cancer and bereavement. We are so grateful for their generosity, enthusiasm, and kindness which truly means so much. 💙

We were delighted to recently welcome representatives from the East Anglian Mark Benevolent Association and George Borrow Mark Master Masons Lodge, and to thank them for their grants awarded to us, totalling £1,000.

Their support and generosity are truly appreciated.

We are excited to soon share how this funding will be used on one of our projects! A wonderful example of community support making a real difference 💙
