This evening, my collegue and I delivered a neuro-affirming talk on Autism, ADHD and AuDHD for the Sutton Mental Health Foundation. We both volunteer for the National Autistic Society Sutton and this talk was attended by autistic adults, parents, carers and professionals. My collegue delivered an excellent lived experience which was well received by all.

Adapt to Learn, in conjunction with The National Autistic Society - Sutton Branch are happy to offer the opportunity to attend our Small Change, Big Difference parent programme.
This is aimed at parents who have had a diagnosis of autism for their child/young person or who are on the pathway to gaining one.
The programme comprises of a series of four 1.5-hour sessions.
A commitment to attend all 4 sessions is required:
o Understanding Autism
o Strategies to help
o Is it Sensory or is it Behaviour?
o Emotions and Resilience
This is a 4-week programme starting on Tuesday, 14th April and ending on Tuesday, 5th May 26 and will be held at a local venue.
There is a limited number of places available.

This is a wonderful example of correct environment and correct support. This young lady has created a wonderful business out of a passion, and did this following an autistic breaksown. She is an inspiration and a wonderful person. She is also supporting our community in offering SEN sessions.
