20 Room HMO Planning Application
Land To The Side Of 494 Gander Green Lane North Cheam SM3 9RG
DM2026/00427
Our Stonecot NHW Members in Gander Green Lane, Hamilton Ave and London Road have expressed their concerns regarding this proposed development. We have spoken to our Stonecot Ward Councillors and they have provided the following information.
"We understand that this application has been met with much concern and has been requested by our members to be shared further to raise awareness.
Stonecot Ward Councillors Rob and Cumar have already been delivering leaflets in the vicinity of the application to encourage objections to be made. Additionally, Rob has dedelegated the decision to go to Sutton Council's planning committee for decision.
This means planning officers will not make the decision; instead, Councillors will vote on the officer recommendation during a meeting held in public to determine an outcome. This allows full transparency on the decision. Additionally residents can attend and speak on the application. Rob has confirmed that he will be speaking against the application on the night. "
