One Punch North East educates people about the risks and consequences of a split second decision to engage in violence. It helps people make safe choices and recognise the warning signs of and deal with a potentially violent situation. Through education and awareness raising, One Punch North Eas

t works to eliminate social violence, where a poor decision, a single act and a split second can cause devastating lasting damage to numerous lives. One Punch North East will provide support and signpost victims and families of one-punch assaults and social violence. Objectives
Increase awareness of the risks and consequences of social violence. Reduce the number of reported cases of social violence within Co. Durham and Darlington. Provide support to those affected by social violence. Harness the knowledge and life experiences of those affected by social violence, to educate others. Increase sentencing guidelines for violent assaults.
