After a successful launch event in September which attracted over 300 local residents, The Mackem community event returns December 3rd at City Hall, Sunderland, 10am - 3pm! 🎄🏢📍
It’s a great way of getting a range of organisations who do great work in the city under one 1 roof to share what services they offer. It’s an accessible way for the local community to find the help and support they need whether it’s mental or physical wellbeing, cost of living support or socialisation.
It’s a free event, there will be refreshments, hygiene packs and donated clothing as well as access to over 25 organisations who can offer signposting help for those who are interested!
Most importantly, the mission is to promote ‘Active Citizenship’ among residents, engaging with the help that is available or taking an active role in supporting others!
If anyone is interested in taking part as an organisation or would like to donate any clothing or toiletries, please contact [email protected] 📧
