Another week has come round, wow, the days are moving quickly by.

Hello from us all at No. 72. We hope you had a nice weekend and are now raring to go! Do you know it is National Learning at Work Week? Well they say every day's a school day, eh!

Once a month, beginning soon, we will have our two lovely multi-talented art n craft ladies with us again. Is there anything you have always wanted to learn and perhaps they can teach you? Their skills include so far decoupage, card, jewellery and decoration making, book mark creations ... do let us know and pop along to see what you can learn. Their dates to follow.

Next week is half-term and we will be closed. Our last drop-in this week is Thursday and drop-in will re-start on Tuesday 2nd June, usual times, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm.

Or, pop along to the Marks Tey Boot Fair on Wednesday of next week, 27th May, where we are holding our "No. 72 Elegant Boot Bazaar" with some very lovely vintage, chic tasteful garments, statement pieces for sale ... and see us there! Good morning to you all on this (chilly) Monday of Mental Health Awareness Week. This awareness week runs from today, 11th, until 17th May and the theme for it is "action"; emphasizing the importance of taking action to support good mental health.

If you are struggling in any way, shape or form, do come into see us here at No. 72. You can have a private chat or spend time with others, talking, listening, laughing, over coffee and biscuits.

On Wednesday we have the lovely Rio with us, our Pet Therapy Doggie. Come along for some restorative calming canine cuddles. We have our normal art opportunities too, including on Thursday, our resident artist is here to give artistic guidance if needed.

On 27th May, we have our next fund-raising venture. At the Marks Tey venue, may we present "The No. 72 Elegant Boot Bazaar". Think curated boot fair / vintage wares / chic tasteful garments / hand-picked and select homewares. If you have a polished, snappy and sharp item we could sell for our funds, do please get in touch with us (01787 310610). Thank you.

A very good morning from us all here at No. 72 - it's a later in the week one due to our lovely May Day bank holiday!

This shorter week the No. 72 drop-in is open Wednesday, today and Thursday 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. Come along for a cuppa, company, cake ... and bring your art project with you if you like, to gain inspiration from our arty environment. It is National Beverage Day today ... so it would be rude not to partake in that extra cuppa, wouldn't it!

A very big thank you to - Stroll Your Way to Fitness - Sudbury who have kindly donated to us some funds from their recent fund-raising initiatives. THANK YOU so much Sudbury Strollers.

Just a quick mid-week post to catch you all ... and plug us here at No. 72 again!

Our services here at No. 72 are required by more and more local people. We really want to be here for everyone who needs our help in whatever way.

We know we have been pushing the gap in our finances a lot of late ... and a very big thank you to everyone who has signed up to donate or has helped us in any way ... but we do still have a way to go to enable us to be financially safe and viable from month to month.

Whatever way in which you can help us, we would be so very grateful. This can be pledging to regularly donate month to month, popping a few chips in our Waitrose green token bin, fund-raising for us or supporting one of our up-coming fund-raisers, and .

Good afternoon to you! Wow, what a wonderful day it is today, too ... we are certainly being blessed with some beautiful April sunshine.

This week at Number 72 we have our drop-in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30 am - 12.30 pm. Just come along and drop-in (as the name suggests) - you will be assured of a warm welcome, good company, a very decent cuppa ... and all in a lovely calm environment.

On Thursday there is our resident artist, happy to give advise on art painting of any description.

Good morning to you ... and what a glorious morning it is, too! The sun is due to set today at 20.06 - how fab is that! We are getting there ... proper Spring and Summer days are just around the corner.

As today is National Volunteer Recognition Day we cannot let the date pass without a shout out to the volunteers everywhere who make so many wheels turn. Especially a big THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers here at No. 72, without whom, the Charity could not function. Thank you so much!

This week at No. 72 we look forward to welcoming you as always. Drop-In will be open Tuesday to Thursday, 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. Come along as you are, enjoy some company in a calm environment with cuppas, cookies and maybe even cakes! Feel free to bring any art or craft project you are working on with you, and you can carry on with it here. Crochet advice on hand too!

Well hello again! Here we are returned from the Easter holidays, refreshed and raring to go. Wasn't it lovely to see some Easter sunshine ... So lovely.

Well No. 72's drop-in cafe will be open from tomorrow to Thursday, 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. Wednesday will see Rio one of our lovely Pet Therapy Dogs here with us, Thursday will see our resident artist Mick on hand to help with any of your art queries and our crochet crafter will be here too. If you fancy some calm company, cuppa, canine cuddles, a warm welcome and some space in which to carry on your art work, do pop by to see us at No. 72 North Street. We'd love to see you!

Don't forget if you shop in Waitrose, we are lucky enough to be one of their current green token benefactors. Do pop a token or two in to our bin there and perhaps we might become the winning charity!
