Welcome to new member Livvy, who explains why she joined the Car Club.
“I haven't owned a car for 16 years, and I was resistant to buying one just because I was planning to move to a more rural area. When I heard about the SVCCC it was a deciding factor in my decision to move to Stroud.
“I can whizz down the hill on my bike and be at the car club Astra in minutes, and so far it's been available every time I have wanted to book it.”

Part-time job opportunity!
We need some paid admin help to keep the club running smoothly.
The successful candidate will monitor and reply to emails and new member enquiries, generate and send out monthly invoices, and take minutes at directors’ meetings, among other related duties.

We can pay £15 per hour on a self-employed, work-from-home basis, for what we estimate is an average of two hours a week.

Pin-up of the week! Feast your eyes on our cute Kia Picanto, which lives at Cainscross but which was spotted today on the other side of Stroud.
We’d love to see pics of our cars out and about, so if you spot the Kia, or the Peugeot 308, or the Dacia Logan – whose parking spots are Newlands Brook and Bisley Road respectively – do send them in!
