Stroud Area Alzheimer's Cafe We meet at Longfield on the last Wednesday of the month from 2-4pm (except December when we have a party before Christmas). We have a break in August.

The cafe is for all who have concerns about any form of dementia along with partners, family and carers.

Spring has well and truly sprung, and our next cafe is on Wednesday 27th May, 2-4pm in the Education Suite at Longfield Community Hospice in Minch.
We will welcome Nicky Copper as our guest speaker this month to talk about looking after our mobility and avoiding falls - Nicky is a Health and Exercise Practitioner at Glos NHS Trust.

Gearing up for the next cafe on Wednesday 29th April. We’re running from 2-4pm in the Education Suite at Longfield Community Hospice in Minch as usual.
This month we welcome back Biddy Turner from Mindsong to entertain us - she was brilliant last year!
All welcome. Plenty of free parking. Look forward to seeing you there.

The guest at our next cafe on 25th February is Vicki Roberts, Dementia Adviser for Gloucestershire Alzheimer’s Society.
Vicki is a well known and valued guest, often spending time talking at the tables.
We run from 2-4pm as usual at the Education Suite, Longfield Community Hospice, Burleigh Lane, Minchinhampton. All welcome.

What a remarkable man. Adrian and Gillian came to the cafe for about six months whilst they were still able. Funeral donations are for Longfield.

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Adrian Riddiford, a much-loved figure in football circles, who died peacefully last month, aged 89.
