Your chance to be part of history! Our monologue competition is running in our centenary year. There are competitions for performance and original writing.

The winners will be invited to our Centenary AGM weekend to perform them and receive their awards.

If you came along to our sign-up night last Wednesday and have membership and/or consent forms to return, please feel free to pop in with them tomorrow Factory from 7pm.

Shopping Week Comedy R***e 2026

Our annual Comedy R***e returns to Stromness Town Hall on Tuesday 21st July!

Interested in writing a sketch or contributing an idea? Please let Lorraine know what you’re working on and send any material to [email protected] by Friday 19 June.

Fancy taking part on stage? Lorraine is also looking for performers. You’ll need to be available from 5pm on Tuesday 21 July, with a rehearsal on Sunday 19 July (approx. 2.30-6.30pm) if possible. No need to memorise lines- scripts in hand is all part of the fun!

Not keen on writing or performing? Come along and enjoy the show! Doors open at 8pm, the r***e starts at 8.30pm, entry is £5 and there’ll be a raffle too.

UPDATE: Our information session on the Winter Show 'Beauty and the Beast' is now open to all adults and young people from Primary 1 upwards. Younger children are not expected to stay for the whole information session. Please see poster for more details :)
