Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Vine Surgery? Why do we work the way we do, how decisions are made, and what really happens once you’ve contacted the surgery?

Dr Trotter and Sharon Morgan would love to invite you to a special group education session where we’ll take a look behind the scenes at Vine Surgery – what makes us tick, what we’re trying to achieve, and some of the challenges and opportunities facing general practice today.

We’ll also have plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion and conversation, so please come along with anything you’ve ever wondered about how your surgery works!

Around a third of people in the UK have high blood pressure, but most don’t know it. It doesn’t have any symptoms so the only way to find out is to have a blood pressure check.

Book an appointment with our nursing team, or call into reception where patients registered at our practice can use our Healthcare Pod without an appointment.

Once you “Know Your Numbers!” you can get support to bring your blood pressure under control and reduce any potential risk of heart attack, strokes, or other illnesses.

Joining a group for the first time can feel a bit daunting, especially when you’re struggling with your confidence or mental health.

But, as one of our Crewkerne volunteers found, sometimes saying yes can lead to so much more. 💚

From joining their first Health Walk to becoming a walk leader, they’ve found a way to get out, meet new people and build their confidence.

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about improving patient care through the safe and effective use of medicines.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll work as part of the team at Glastonbury Health Centre, supporting patients with long-term conditions, complex medication needs and polypharmacy. You’ll carry out structured medication reviews, provide specialist medicines advice and contribute to high-quality, evidence-based prescribing while working closely with GPs and colleagues across the wider health and care system.

Want to learn skills to effectively self-manage your pain?

Over eight sessions, the Living Well with Pain programme will help you understand how small, achievable changes can positively influence your experience with pain.

The programme is open to anyone registered with a practice registered in our Primary Care Network: Glastonbury Health Centre, Glastonbury Surgery, Wells City Practice, Wells Health Centre and Vine Surgery Partnership.
