Recently, several people have contacted this page regarding the issue of dog dirt being left on pavements and the park at Leswalt .

It is not the dogs’ fault. It is a few adults at fault. Thus, we would like to issue a polite reminder to those dog owners:

Please help keep our village clean and pleasant for everyone by picking up after your dogs - when walking on pavements, paths, in the park and wetlands.

Unfortunately, dog mess has been left in several areas recently, which can be unpleasant and unsafe for residents, children, and other visitors.

We appreciate the vast majority of responsible dog owners who already do the right thing. Your cooperation helps keep our small village tidy and enjoyable for all.
