John has been part of the Pink Frog family for almost three years, and what a difference he makes! He’s a hugely valuable, hands‑on member of the team and our go‑to guy for anything DIY. If something needs fixed, built, or figured out… John’s your man.🔨🔧

Our participants absolutely love heading out in the van with him — learning from his wide knowledge, picking up new skills, and of course enjoying a sneaky wee sweet treat along the way with the Froggers. 😂🍬🍩

John brings patience, humour, and a brilliant practical mind to Pink Frog every single day. We’re so lucky to have him as part of the team. 💚🐸

⭐ What is your favourite thing about working at Pink Frog?

“I love seeing the development of the Froggers and watching their confidence grow. It’s amazing to see people realise what they’re capable of and take pride in their progress.”

“To see the future! It would make planning jobs, fixing things, and staying ahead of any challenges a whole lot easier.”

“Seeing people living a good life and having positivity around them. When others are happy, it lifts everyone.”

Say hello to Eilidh, who joined Pink Frog just under a year ago and has already become such a valued part of the team. From day one, she’s brought an energy that’s impossible not to catch — the kind that lifts the whole room and gets every Frogger smiling and moving.

🌈Eilidh has a real gift for motivating our participants. She’s full of creative ideas that help them learn, grow, and push themselves in ways that feel fun and achievable. Whether she’s leading an activity or cheering someone on, she brings enthusiasm that makes a difference every single day.🌈

What we love most about Eilidh is her warm, genuine personality. She brightens the day without even trying, and her kindness makes Pink Frog an even more welcoming place to be.

⭐⭐⭐ Meet the Team – Sandie, Support Worker⭐⭐⭐

Say hello to Sandie, who has been part of the Pink Frog family for a year and a half. From the moment she joined, she brought a brilliant mix of fun, dedication, and a real passion for helping our Froggers grow.

🧮 Sandie has a natural love for numbers and English, and she uses those strengths every single day — whether she’s supporting someone through a tricky maths task or helping build confidence in reading and writing. She’s never afraid to get stuck in, works incredibly hard, and always brings a smile to the cabin.🧮

💕One of the things we love most about Sandie is how she creates projects based on the participants’ interests. She listens, she adapts, and she makes learning feel personal and enjoyable. She’s built great friendships with staff and participants, and her positive energy makes her a joy to work with.💕

"Seeing the Froggers’ progression — especially in maths. Watching their confidence grow is the best feeling.”

“To be a mind reader. It would help me understand exactly what someone needs, even when they can’t put it into words.”

🌼 Meet the team 🌼 – Laura, Programme Supervisor 🌼

If you’ve spent any time at Pink Frog, you’ll know exactly why Laura has become such a loved part of the team. She’s been with us for just over a year, and in that time she’s brought a wonderful mix of creativity, kindness, and a real passion for nature and animals.🕷🐱🌿

🦋Laura’s love for the outdoors has shaped so many of the activities our Froggers enjoy — from getting everyone out into nature to combining learning with fun, to organising magical visits like Owl Magic coming to the cabin. She has a gift for turning simple moments into meaningful experiences.🦋

🌞In her time here, she’s built lovely friendships with staff and created strong bonds with participants. The Froggers adore her, and it’s easy to see why — she brings warmth, patience, and a bright energy to every day.🌞

💬 What’s your favourite part of working at Pink Frog?

“Getting to spend the week with some of my favourite people. Every day is different, and the Froggers always bring so much joy, laughter, and energy. It’s a place where everyone supports each other, and being part of that feels really special.”

To talk to animals. I’d love to understand what they’re thinking and feeling — imagine how much fun it would be to bring that into our sessions."

Donna has worked for the Community Reuse Shop for five years, first as a funding officer, then went on as Programme Manager for Pink Frog.

🌸As the Manager of Pink Frog, Donna has been at the heart of this project from day one — shaping it, growing it, and pouring her energy into making it a place where people feel valued, supported, and inspired.🌸

💗Over the years, Donna’s hard work, dedication, and unstoppable drive have helped transform Pink Frog from a simple idea into a thriving, welcoming space that changes lives. She’s the kind of person who leads with kindness. Whether she’s supporting participants, guiding staff, or dreaming up new ways to help the community, Donna brings warmth and purpose to everything she does.💗

It’s no surprise that staff and participants adore her. Her door is always open, her encouragement is genuine, and her belief in people is unwavering. Donna doesn’t just manage a programme — she builds a family.

👏🐸 Huge well done to our two Froggers who have been working incredibly hard while helping to put up the Community Reuse Shop sign! 🪧💚

Not only did they get the job done, they also developed some fantastic practical and teamwork skills along the way 🙌

🛠️ Skills they used and learned:
📏 Measuring and positioning the sign correctly
🤝 Teamwork and communication while safely lifting and moving materials
🧠 Problem-solving to figure out the best way to attach the sign securely
⚖️ Health & safety awareness when transporting the sign across the yard
🎯 Attention to detail to make sure the sign was straight and secure

It’s great to see confidence, independence, and practical skills growing through real hands-on experience 🌟👏 Well done both of you — fantastic work! 💚🐸

They have been busy organising and sorting a wide selection of books in the warehouse before preparing and delivering them to Tesco and Morrisons. 🚚📦

They have developed and demonstrated valuable workplace skills including organisation, teamwork, communication, stock management and time management ⏰🤝 — all while making a positive impact in the local community ❤️📖

🌼 A Big Well Done to Our Frogger! 🌼

We’re so proud of our talented Frogger, who has designed and made a beautiful bee feeder completely from scratch for our garden. 💛🐝🐝

Every part of it was carefully thought through with love and kindness — especially making sure the bees can safely drink without the risk of drowning. By providing them with a little extra energy, he’s helping support these important pollinators that play such a vital role in our environment and food supply. 🌍🌸

Projects like this are about so much more than gardening. They help build confidence, creativity, responsibility, and problem-solving skills — all valuable qualities that support employability and future opportunities.
