I want to thank my family especially my wife Lillian and my kids Lauren, Tiérnan & Alannah for the hard work you all put in with the organising and helping out with tractor run for Lisa . To say they never stopped in the months before the run and on the day is an understatement . Lillian worked tirelessly in the evenings when she came from work doing tickets , sorting out prizes and of course doing her favourite thing baking, making all the tray bakes for the day. She was on the ball from start to finish with everything like the hi viz vests , the prize envelopes , all of which she had got personalised with Lisa’s tractor run picture, she collected donations and prizes the simple touches that sometimes go unnoticed . Lillian and Lauren talked every evening on the phone planning ahead. They were always one step ahead of me. Lauren worked tirelessly also organising all the prizes and of course all our social media work which for a young woman who had just had her first child was a big task but she done it without complaining , and what a job she done it was first class. Tiernan helped on the lead up with signage and support on the day. Wee Alannah worked hard on the day in the tuck shop where they were flat out all day. To look back now and think that when I lost my wee sister on the 24/6/25 I said about 6weeks after it I was going to do this for charity too give something back while I was grieving and struggling with Lisa’s loss Lillian encouraged me to go for it . So from start to finish had my own warriors right by my side.I struggled mentally and all the time I wasn’t talking much about Lisa , Lillian and the kids carried me through my darkest days to make sure we as a family pulled this off. I now look at life differently and it’s ok to be not ok with support of your nearest and dearest. So Thankyou so much to my wee family.
