💚 A massive thank you to David! 💚
As the sun sets on another wonderful Suffolk Show, we want to give a huge shout-out to David, pictured here at our stand.

David is a key member of our leadership team and a driving force behind the Suffolk Black Poplar Project. He put an incredible amount of hard work into organising our lovely looking stall this year, ensuring our native Suffolk trees and hedgerows were showcased beautifully in the Floral Tent.

From coordinating the displays to sharing his immense knowledge with visitors, our presence at the show wouldn’t be the same without his dedication.

Thank you, David, for everything you do to keep the Suffolk Tree Warden Network thriving! 🌳👏

☀️ Day 2 at the Suffolk Show (Official) and the Floral Tent is buzzing! ☀️

As you can see, Graham and David from our team are having some fantastic conversations today about all things trees and hedgerows.

As part of the national Tree Warden Scheme coordinated by The Tree Council, our affiliated network of volunteers loves sharing their passion for protecting our county's landscape.

If you are visiting the show today, do come and find the Suffolk Tree Warden Network stand inside the Floral Tent to:
🌳 Explore projects like our Suffolk Tree Nurseries and the Black Poplar Project.
🌳 Get expert advice on managing ancient veteran trees or planting wildlife-friendly hedgerows.
🌳 Discover how to join us as a volunteer Tree Warden for your local parish.

We're really proud to have been involved in this partnership. Well done all.

More than 1,000 cuttings were taken from trees in our native black poplar clone bank in Alphamstone 🌳

These cuttings will be potted up by volunteers to create young saplings, which will then be offered to landowners in Suffolk and Essex with suitable land

A great partnership project with Suffolk Tree Warden Network, Essex County Council Forestry and Woodland team, Nowton Park, Thames Chase Community Forest and Jimmy's Farm
